Jin1 brought up the topic of figure drawings so I thought I'd share mine. I hope he share's his too.
The following drawings are all from a live nude model. No photos used. Most of these are around 10 or 20 minute studies. Click to enlarge.

Here's a gesture study (1-5 minute study)

Paintings
And here is a painting I did strait up copying a photograph of mine. This was painted in Acrylics. Click to enlarge.

This is a painting I did using reference. I had to create a coral reef illustration that would be appropriate for a National Geographic magazine. I had to hunt down a TON of reference for this. This was my first time ever doing an illustration like this. I think I did pretty well although there are areas for improvement. Click to enlarge

Yeah I like the coral reef one the most also. I love figure drawing though. It's all about motion and gesture and it's so interesting to me.

Very nice....

Question:
Do you use HTML tags or BBC Code tags to imbed the images in the post?

I tried both and when I hit Preview... nothing shows.

What's the secret ?

Do you see the little Source button in the editor? click that to go into html mode and then use html code to place images in your post.

Thanks for the comments D and KitsuneChan

Ah, yes.   The reef painting.  Still love it.   As for your other painting, WOW.  I thought it was a photo until I read the comment about it.  Very nice work.

The sketches - the studies sound cool. And the sketches rock.

It says "Warning Nudity." It's for the nudity in the figure drawings.
